Dr. Ceib Phillips
Dr. Phillips is a Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry. She received her Ph.D. in Anatomy at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1976 and her M.P.H. in Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina in 1990.
Dr. Phillips currently holds memberships in such organizations as the American Statistical Association, Biometric Society, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Association for Dental Research, and the Society for Clinical Trials and is on the editorial board of JOMS, J Dent Hyg and Patient Preference and Adherence. Her research interests focus on biostatistical applications and data management of clinical trials. She is the principal investigator for a NIDCR grant, "Sensory Retraining following Orthognathic Surgery, and an investigator on a second NIDR grant, Functional Outcomes of Cleft Lip Surgery. She is also the director of the data coordinating center for a multi-center project on management of patients with third molars funded by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
