Duqum to Speak at ADA Annual Session

The American Dental Association (ADA) has selected Dr. Ibrahim Duqum, clinical assistant professor in the Department of Prosthodontics, to speak at this year’s ADA Annual Session in Las Vegas. Dr. Duqum is one of 15 new speakers – out of nearly 100 new speaker submissions – added to the ADA Annual Session presentation agenda.

Dr. Duqum will present a course entitled Digital Technology in Restorative Dentistry: Fact or Farce? on Tuesday, October 11 at 10 a.m. at the New and Emerging Speaker Stage in the Mandalay Convention Center, Bayside B.

“It is a privilege to know I will have a role in contributing knowledge to such an important meeting for dentists,” said Dr. Duqum, who joined UNC in 2008 after receiving his M.S. in prosthodontics from our school’s graduate prosthodontics program. “I hope all attendees will take the opportunity to support the new speakers at the ADA Annual Session.”

The ADA Annual Session will take place October 10 – 13, 2011. The early registration deadline for the annual session is Friday, September 9. To register for the meeting or to obtain more information about the ADA Annual Session, please visit www.ada.org/session.
