There are a lot of options in the Triangle and in North Carolina for dental care. So – why choose Carolina?
Expertise. The UNC School of Dentistry employs known, recognized experts in all fields of dentistry to teach the next generation of dental professionals. In each of the different clinics, the school’s patients receive quality care from compassionate caregivers. The school’s pre-doctoral and graduate students are instructed and overseen by the school’s well-respected faculty members, who have hundreds of years of experience between them. Patients of the UNC School of Dentistry clinics can be certain they’re being cared for by some of the best in dentistry.
Breadth of Services. Anything that can be done in dentistry can be done at the UNC School of Dentistry. Regardless of a patient’s need, the care providers at the UNC School of Dentistry clinics can manage it. Whether patients need a complex craniofacial procedure, a bridge or a filling, the clinics at the UNC School of Dentistry has the ability to provide the necessary treatment.
Three Clinics. The school offers three types of clinic experiences – student clinics, graduate clinics and Dental Faculty Practice – not only to educate its students and keep its faculty sharp, but also to provide options to the citizens of North Carolina. The different clinics suit different styles of needs, schedules and comfort levels, so each patient can find a clinic that’s a best fit for them.
Carolina Cares. Perhaps the best reason to come to Carolina for dental care is because since its founding in 1950, the school has prioritized providing oral care for the citizens of North Carolina, the nation and the world. It took just two years for the school to begin seeing patients in a clinical setting. Now, the clinics see more than 114,000 patient visits annually for all kinds of dental procedures – from a routine cleaning to a complicated surgical procedure. At Carolina, the faculty, staff and students prioritize caring for patients in a compassionate, comfortable way that creates a trusting patient/doctor relationship. Practitioners at Carolina take their responsibility to provide ethical, quality care to the citizens of North Carolina seriously, which makes caring about the health of patients paramount.
