Dean Stamm Earns ADI's Highest Award
On October 22, 2003, Dean John W. Stamm was named International Dentist of the Year by the Academy of Dentistry International (ADI) at the Academy's annual meeting held in conjunction with American Dental Association (ADA) 2003 Annual Session in San Francisco. The award is the ADI's highest honor.
Stamm is frequently sought out by dental school administrators around the world as an educational consultant and external reviewer of their curricula and programs. Over the last three years he has lectured in Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, England, Germany, and Russia.
The Academy of Dentistry International is the international honor society for dentists dedicated to sharing knowledge in order to serve the dental and oral health needs and to improve the quality of life of the people throughout the world. This award recognizes Stamm's outstanding contributions to dental education, continuing education and improving oral health care treatment internationally.
