Tuition and Financial Aid

At Carolina, we understand that earning a DDS is not just a lifelong dream for many applicants, but it can also be an expensive reality. Along with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the School of Dentistry prides itself in continually being one of the best values for dental education in the country.

How Much Does the DDS Program Cost?

Costs vary slightly each year for the incoming class, and can fluctuate during a student’s enrollment at UNC. First-year tuition and fees for the current first-year DDS class are $50,590 (N.C. resident) and $83,790 (non-resident).
