Dental Hygiene Programs

Degree Completion in Dental Hygiene

The Degree Completion Dental Hygiene Program provides the opportunity for licensed dental hygienists who have been awarded a Certificate or Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene to earn a Bachelor of Science degree within the discipline of dental hygiene. Graduates of dental hygiene programs accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation who have successfully passed the National Dental Hygiene Board Examination may apply to the program. The curriculum is administered with the flexibility necessary to accommodate the varying special interests and career goals of individual students. Courses in advanced dental hygiene studies and clinical sciences provide for in-depth study in Geriatric Dentistry, Hospital Dentistry, Oral Microbiology, Pediatric Dentistry and Periodontics.

Coursework may be completed on campus or online.

Note: Applications are not being accepted for the program starting in Fall 2013. The curriculum is currently being evaluated and modified to meet the needs of licensed dental hygienists.

In the meantime, contact with the American Dental Hygienist Association for other degree completion programs which may assist you in reaching your goal.
