Observership Program

The department also offers an observership program for dental students matriculating at a dental school outside the U.S. or Canada. The program afford the student an opportunity to observe, but not participate in, patient care in the operating room and outpatient clinics, as well as participate in all department didactic activities. The observership application is essentially the same as the externship application except that there is no requirement for malpractice insurance.
