Class of 2012 residents were Ed Givens, Theresa Wang and Bryan Limmer
Edward Givens, Jr, DDS
Dr. Edward Givens, Jr , a native of Michigan, completed his pre-doctoral training at the University of Michigan. While there, he was the recipient of the Health Service Collegiate Program scholarship from the US Navy, and upon graduation, completed a 3 year tour, including a deployment to Kuwait. He was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal and Gold Star in lieu of a Navy Achievement Medal for exceptional delivery of dental care. Dr. Givens currently retains membership in the following organizations: American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Academy of Oral Medicine. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, exercising, playing guitar, and repairing compromised dentitions (fixin’ teeth).
Bryan Limmer, DMD
Dr. Bryan Limmer is originally from Anoka, Minnesota. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and attended dental school at Harvard University, graduating with a D.M.D. in June 2009.
Theresa Wang, DDS
Dr. Theresa Wang joined us from Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with distinction in 2005, Bachelor of Science in Dentistry in 2007, and Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2009. Upon receiving her doctorate, Dr. Wang was awarded the Dr. Gerson Gould and Mr. Sol H. Gould Memorial Scholarship Award for exemplifying outstanding clinical performance and excellent managerial skills. She was also awarded the Dr. Karl H. Hawlass Scholarship for demonstrating the desire to enter the teaching profession. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American College of Prosthodontics.
