Dr. Ricardo Padilla
One credit hour will be awarded by the Office of Administrative Affairs after
the course requirements have been completed. Note: Dental students must complete
between 5 and 9 Elective Course Credit hours before graduation. The exact number
of Elective credits depends on the number of Continuing Education credits.
You must attend the full day’s
events at Dental Research in Review Day (DRRD) on February 21, 2007, as detailed
below. Attendance will be documented by members of the Student Research Group
(see list of student
monitors) who will initial this form as you participate in each event.
Following DRRD turn in the completed form to Ms. Andrea Hall in Room 128 of the Dental
Office Bldg. Also, you must either write a 3 page paper (double-spaced, font 12)
describing a research topic presented at DRRD and its application to dentistry
OR give an oral or poster presentation during DRRD. Note that
Student Research Group members who help out with the day’s events (e.g.,
moderate an oral session) are also exempt from the paper requirement.
E-mail your paper (Microsoft Word document) to Dr. Padilla at
email@example.com (note underscore between first and last
names), by Friday, March 2, 2007. You
will be notified by e-mail of your grade. The course is open to all
pre-doctoral dental students. No registration is required for the course.
