UNC DentistrE News

Dear Friend of the UNC School of Dentistry:
The leaves are starting to change and the air is starting to cool. Classes and clinics are clicking along at a rhythmic, smooth pace. It’s official: fall is upon us in the Southern Part of Heaven.
I thought you may enjoy a peek at some photos from the DDS Class of 2018 orientation in late August. Check out the pictures and be sure to like the school’s Facebook page while you’re there! (While you’re at it, connect with the UNCDAA and UNC Dental Hygiene Alumni Association on Facebook too.)
Some of you may be receiving this while you’re at the ADA meeting in San Antonio. If you’re in town, don’t forget: tomorrow is the annual UNC School of Dentistry Alumni Reception at the ADA Meeting! The reception is at the River Terrace at the Marriott Riverwalk, 6:30-8 p.m. Be sure to come by for a drink and to say hello to your fellow alumni, Dean Jane Weintraub and Nicole Quallen, executive director of the UNCDAA!
I hope you’re all planning to join us in Chapel Hill for our Alumni Tailgate and Football event on November 15! It’s sure to be a great weekend of catching up with colleagues, CE opportunities and, best of all, Carolina football! If you have questions about the weekend, just give us a call: 919.537.3257. (Game time won’t be set until about 10 days before the game, so we’ll update you as soon as we have that information.)
Be sure to hold the date for the fourth annual Best of Dentistry Weekend this spring: April 17-18, 2015 in Chapel Hill! It’s sure to be another great weekend with our alumni and friends, and I hope you’ll be able to attend. More information coming on that soon.
As always, if you’d like to make your annual gift, set up a recurring gift or make a one-time donation to the Dental Foundation, you may do so online by clicking here or contacting our office (email@example.com, 919.537.3257) to discuss your giving options.
Thank you for your continued investment in and support of our school! I hope to see you in Chapel Hill soon!
