Through the years, the association has provided financial support for UNC dental students through annual scholarships and by subsidizing various student activities. The DAA also provides beneficial opportunities for alumni to gather throughout the year, including spring reunions, fall football weekends, and activities coinciding with the Hinman Dental Meeting and the North Carolina Dental Society Annual Session.
