Adverse Weather Status - Condition Level III
All Patient Care Clinics (Dental Faculty Practice, Student Dental Clinics, and Graduate Dental Clinics), are closed until at least 10 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015.

Condition 3 (classes canceled, offices closed) will remain in effect until at least 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27. The University will announce a decision about operations for the rest of the day based on current conditions and safety factors by early Friday morning. Classes are canceled, and University offices are closed. Emergency employees must report for work. Employees who have not been designated "emergency" must not attempt to come to their worksites.

Dean Weintraub's Response to Tragic Student Passing
We are heartbroken and grief-stricken by last night’s devastating news, the incredible loss to our school and to the entire Carolina Community. One of the shooting victims killed at an off-campus condominium complex has been identified as second-year dental student Deah Barakat. His wife, Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, and his wife’s sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha were also killed in the shooting. Yusor was recently admitted as a member of the incoming DDS Class of 2019.
